2-13-13 -- If you haven't heard, I fell on Wednesday 2-1-12 at work and broke my right elbow. I had surgery on 2-2-12 to have a plate and screws put in to help put the break back together. As of right now, we have not had to cancel any gigs even though I personally cannot perform. We have called upon Larry Rysavy and also Karl Hartwich to help out with the GRD gigs at the moment. Right now, I am being told that mid-April to the end of April I should be able to return. I am hoping that rehab will go well and the elbow will heal as normal. I thank all of you for the support and e-mails and cards. Take care and hope to see you down Polka Road again very very soon.

3-18-11--We just got word that our latest CD, "Brueggen Down The House" was named "Variety CD of the Year" from the PACE organization! This award was voted on by fellow musicians and the public and our band is completed shocked and honored by this award!!!!
I have to thank the Fans and musicians who voted for our CD, along with a Thank-You the fans that continue to support the band in many ways! Also, Thank-You to the musicians and all of the people that helped to make this CD what it is!!! Also Thank-You to the PACE for this wonderful honor!!!!!!!!

10-20-10--If you haven't heard, Laurie Solberg and Doug "Gus" Krueger were married back on October 1st, 2010 at a very small ceremony in Bangor, WI. Laurie also took a new job position in Milwaukee working in the same field as an optical technician. She will not be able to be a full-time member of Gary's Ridgeland Dutchmen but will be able to help out on occasion.
Please help me in wishing Laurie and Doug all of the best.
Chris Langen will be helping out on the piano on as many gigs as he can.
